Sunday Confessional 2

Nov 1st 054

I go through more chocolate a week than anyone I know. But I’m guessing you could have figured that out by now.

I don’t believe in food dye–not in the same way that I don’t believe in the Tooth Fairy; kind of like how I don’t believe in Keanu Reeves as an actor.

Recipe: Vegan Pumpkin Ice Cream

(Pictured: Vegan Pumpkin Ice Cream)

The average American has about 20 gallons of ice cream a year. I’ve only had ice cream on 2 different occasions over the past 2 months. I’m ashamed.

I wrote 7 different recipes in one of my classes on Monday. Oh, I also took notes, too. I think…

After covering 3 different foods in chocolate, I looked at an eggplant and wondered how that would taste in chocolate. That was the point I realized I  had a problem. I’ll be attending my first chocoholics anonymous meetings on Tuesday.

“kind of like how I don’t believe in Keanu Reeves as an actor”. Still laughing out loud as “what do you do? What… Do… You… Do…?” runs through my head.

I’ve recently developed a small addiction to chocolate as well, thanks in no small part to the coconut milk brownies I made the other night, thanks for that recipe! Looking forward to more recipes full of wholesome, tasty goodness!

I’d like to point out that your extensive ice cream experiments earlier in this year keep you in the running for that 20 gallons. You’re not a failure! We all witnessed it!!

I bet you and I go through the same amount of chocolate – no shame.

I have a feeling chocolate eggplant would be GOOD, and I would not think twice if I saw it here…

    Keanu… *sigh*. no words…

LOL “I wrote 7 different recipes in one of my classes on Monday. Oh, I also took notes, too. I think”–

Oh that is classic. The modern day twist on doodling or passing notes. Writing recipes. But it’s so old school in many ways. This is why I adore you!

Anyway, confession. I would rather eat homecooked food than “gourmet” food in restaurants most any ole day!

The only problem with eating so much chocolate is that my chocolate leaves behind wrappers. I am so ashamed when I see the mountain of candy wrappers I have created..

Coincidentally, I also write recipes in my Monday night finance class, haha. Maybe Monday nights are the most productive recipe-wise?

hahaha I love this!! Such a great/funny post. I love chocolate, but I think I’m worse about nut butter — I dream up different things I can cover in it. I know I have a problem. 🙂

And the average American really has about 20 gallons of ice cream a year?! Yikes. I guess feel more normal now.

As addictions go, chocolate is not all that bad. And so much yummier.
