The color and flavor of the honey matter. The darker honey is stronger and more robust. The lighter honeys are more delicate and sweeter in flavor.
I love these recipes but nothing beats honey on toast for breakfast!

Have you seen on the side of the mass pike at the rest stops they have farmer's markets? Well if you go to any of them there is a company selling honey. It is seriously the best honey I've ever tasted. I could not stop trying and buying it (to the tune of $70) and it's all gone but I have a birthday in 2 weeks and if the hubs loves me...

Mmm yess honey is indeed a magical food. I love it on toast, in oatmeal, in yogurt, in baked goods, as a small supporting actor in dressings and sauces, and of course - straight out of the jar.

Evan, have you ever tried Leatherwood honey? If not, you need to track it down - so rich and complex and unique in flavour! Though actually, I think it's only made in Tasmania, so you may have to come visit Australia ;)

I'm not sure I could ever eat spoonfuls of honey, but it's a great ingredient. My mom used to make a hot honey mustard that was just totally fantastic!
