Sounds super-decadent: I enjoy the way that yams create their own caramel when baked/roasted, and this takes it to the next level. I can’t help thinking it would be great with some rum in there too…

Oh, yumm. My fave part of baked sweet potatoes is always the super-caramelized top; looks like you got that flavor to permeate this whole dish. Very cool.
